Dr. Tahir Tellioglu, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Tahir Tellioglu is a board-certified psychiatrist and fellowship-trained addiction psychiatry specialist with extensive experience in the treatment of psychiatric and substance use disorders. He completed his psychiatry training at Yale University and Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He currently serves as a Staff Psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital and is an Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Tellioglu has held several leadership roles in behavioral health, including Division Director of Substance Abuse Services at Rhode Island Hospital and Co-Medical Director of the Lifespan Recovery Clinic. He has also served as Medical Director for multiple clinical programs and consulting practices focused on psychiatric evaluation, addiction treatment, and mental health services. In addition to clinical practice, he has contributed to multiple clinical research studies in psychiatry and neurology.

With specialized expertise in addiction psychiatry, psychopharmacology, and the treatment of co-occurring mental health disorders, Dr. Tellioglu is dedicated to providing clinical leadership and oversight to ensure that patients receive the highest standard of psychiatric and addiction care in a supportive and patient-centered environment and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to expand access to effective treatments for patients facing substance use and psychiatric challenges.

Ashley Reed LPC, LMHC

Program Director

Our Program Director Ashley is a compassionate, optimistic, and dynamic leader who has 10 plus years of experience working with various populations within the field. Ashley has worked in areas such as chronic mental illness, eating disorders, domestic violence, substance use, and homelessness to name a few. She attended undergrad at Wesley College in Dover, Delaware and obtained her master’s from Saint Elizabeth University formally known as the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ. Ashley currently holds her LPC and LMHC and looks forward to continuing to be a leader in the mental health field.

Through Ashley’s journey, she has acquired a multitude of skills and utilized what she has acquired to help the next person. With that, she is vested in utilizing those skills to continue to grow a reputable program that supports those in need. Ashley is passionate about mentorship and giving back. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, traveling (she loves the beach), learning new things, dancing, and shopping! Ashley is here to help and wholeheartedly believes that “Peace of mind is where healing begins”.

Karen Marchessault

Director of Clinical Outreach

Our Director of Clinical Outreach, Karen, received her BS in Business Administration with a Healthcare Focus from Southern New Hampshire University. She has held an array of administrative and leadership roles in the healthcare realm. She is an outgoing, hardworking, driven individual who specializes in client relations.

During Karen’s healthcare journey, she has acquired knowledge in grant writing, insurance contracts, business management, and a multitude of other areas. She is a warm and welcoming person. When Karen is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, spending time at her family camp in Maine, skiing, and paddle boarding. She is a strong proprietor of all well-being comes from mental well-being and is always here to help!

Lisa Mcavoy

Admissions Coordinator

Lisa Mcavoy is a grounded, compassionate individual originally from Goffstown, New Hampshire. She attended Mount Washington College, where she studied psychology—an interest that continues to shape the way she understands people, relationships, and everyday interactions. Her background gives her a natural ability to listen deeply, communicate thoughtfully, and approach challenges with empathy and insight.

Outside of her professional life, Lisa is happiest spending quality time with the people who matter most to her. She enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors, finding peace and perspective on scenic trails across New England. Lisa values connection, shared experiences, and making meaningful memories.

Known for her warm personality and genuine care for others, Lisa brings positivity and thoughtfulness into every space she enters. She thrives in environments where collaboration, understanding, and authenticity are valued, and she approaches life with a balance of curiosity, kindness, and steady determination.

Monet Xu

Clinican

Monet received her Master's in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine and is currently working toward her LMHC licensure. She has experience working in community mental health settings, supporting individuals navigating stress, life transitions, and emotional challenges.

Monet takes an integrative, person-centered, and trauma-informed approach informed by evidence-based practices, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She tailors interventions to meet each client's unique needs and believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. She prioritizes creating a safe, collaborative, and affirming space where clients can build insights, develop coping skills, and work towards their personal goals. When she is not working, Monet enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and exploring new places around the city.

Mia Bunker

Certified Trauma-Informed Yoga Instructor

Mia Bunker is a trauma-informed yoga instructor and Health & Wellness educator with more than seven years of experience supporting both adults and children in mental health, addiction recovery, and other therapeutic settings. She is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where individuals can reconnect with their bodies, strengthen self-awareness, and develop practical skills for lasting emotional wellness.

Mia earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2019 and completed her Yoga Teacher Certification through Universal Power Yoga in 2023. Her approach integrates evidence-informed mindfulness practices with trauma-sensitive yoga to help clients reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and build resilience.

In her work, Mia incorporates meditation, breathwork, sound therapy, and somatic practices to support healing and promote overall well-being. She believes that meaningful change comes through consistent, intentional daily habits that empower individuals to live healthier, more balanced, and authentic lives.Drawing from both her professional experience and her personal journey, Mia brings compassion, authenticity, and understanding to every session. Over the past several years, she has studied mindfulness and meditation with monastic teachers at Blue Cliff Monastery in Pine Bush, New York, deepening her understanding of contemplative practices and their role in emotional healing.

Mia believes that when we slow down and observe our thoughts with curiosity rather than judgment, we begin to recognize the patterns that shape our lives. In today's fast-paced world, she sees mindfulness and yoga as powerful tools for cultivating presence, resilience, self-compassion, and lasting personal growth. Her goal is to help every participant feel empowered, grounded, and supported on their path toward improved mental and emotional wellness.
