Program Director
Our Program Director Ashley is a compassionate, optimistic, and dynamic leader who has 10 plus years of experience working with various populations within the field. Ashley has worked in areas such as chronic mental illness, eating disorders, domestic violence, substance use, and homelessness to name a few. She attended undergrad at Wesley College in Dover, Delaware and obtained her master’s from Saint Elizabeth University formally known as the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ. Ashley currently holds her LPC and LMHC and looks forward to continuing to be a leader in the mental health field.
Through Ashley’s journey, she has acquired a multitude of skills and utilized what she has acquired to help the next person. With that, she is vested in utilizing those skills to continue to grow a reputable program that supports those in need. Ashley is passionate about mentorship and giving back. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, traveling (she loves the beach), learning new things, dancing, and shopping! Ashley is here to help and wholeheartedly believes that “Peace of mind is where healing begins”.
Clinical Director
Amaliah earned her BA in Psychology from Becker College and her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an Advanced Trauma-Informed Counseling concentration from Bay Path University. As a compassionate and nurturing therapist, Amaliah specializes in helping individuals heal from PTSD and trauma-related disorders, drawing from her extensive experience across diverse care settings such as residential, community, school-based, in-home, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, telehealth, and outpatient care. She deeply values the unique journey of each person and strives to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered.
Amaliah’s approach is eclectic and integrative, blending a variety of therapeutic models to provide holistic care that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit. Grounded in trauma-informed principles, her practice emphasizes relational, person-centered, and humanistic approaches, ensuring each client’s individual needs are met with respect and empathy. Amaliah excels in supporting clients through complex trauma and is committed to walking alongside them as they address a wide range of mental health concerns and substance use challenges.
A strong advocate for community well-being, Amaliah is passionate about creating and leading programs that foster healing, growth, and connection. Her goal is always to provide an environment where individuals feel supported and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. With a lifelong commitment to learning and growth, Amaliah continuously seeks new ways to enhance her practice and deepen her understanding of the human experience. When she's not working, Amaliah enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, tending to her house plants, and staying active through exercise.

Clinical Psychology Intern
Elaine is currently a graduate student at William James College where she is completing her doctoral training in clinical psychology. She earned her BS in Psychology with a minor in neuroscience at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Throughout her undergraduate years, she advocated for mental health through her sorority’s philanthropic efforts which gave her the opportunity to promote mental health and well-being in the community, to let others know they are not alone, and it strengthened her dedication to this field.
Elaine is especially passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges so they can feel like their best selves. She strives to create a safe, supportive, and open environment where others can feel seen, heard, and understood. She values individualized care and looks at the whole picture of each person's background, growth, and healing to provide the most optimal care possible for each person. She understands that everyone has a unique experience in life, and she wishes to help other’s find their own strengths to aid in healing. In her free time, Elaine loves to dance, travel, watch sit-coms, cook, and bake.
PsyD Clinical Intern
John, a PsyD clinical intern, integrates culturally responsive, collaborative care that emphasizes authenticity and trust, supporting clients across diverse identities and life experiences.
John earned his BS in Biology with a minor in Psychology from MCPHS University, followed by an MBA with a concentration in Healthcare from North eastern University. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at William James College. As part of his doctoral training, John serves as a Clinical Intern at Asteroid Health. Before beginning his clinical training, John worked at The Trevor Project, where he advanced suicide prevention and mental health initiatives for LGBTQIA+ youth. In his role, he helped design national expansion strategies, implemented data-driven models to expand access to care, and supported organizational efforts to meet the needs of underserved communities. These experiences deepened his commitment to person-centered care and reinforced his belief in addressing both individual and systemic barriers to mental health. John’s clinical interests include neuropsychology and LGBTQIA+ mental health. He is dedicated to providing culturally responsive, holistic care that considers the whole person, both mind and body. His therapeutic style emphasizes authenticity, collaboration, and trust, rooted in the belief that the therapeutic relationship itself is a cornerstone of healing. John strives to meet each client as a real person, honoring both the challenges and strengths they bring into the room. He also works to remain mindful of his own privileges and potential biases, continually striving to serve as an ally to transgender and gender-expansive individuals, people of color, and others whose identities differ from his own. Outside of his professional work, John enjoys gardening, sharing oysters with friends, and spending time in the park with his two dogs.

Group Facilitator
Jennifer Angelone is a licensed mental health clinician and has been working in the mental health field for the last 15 years. She received her undergraduate degree from Loyola University Maryland and then went onto receive her master’s degree from Assumption College specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Child and Family Therapy. She additionally has advanced graduate certificates from Cornell University inWomen Leadership and Wellness Coaching. Jennifer is also a freelance trainer with the Life is Good Playmaker Project® - a non-profit organization that teaches other child-centered professionals how to harness the power of optimism to create life-changing relationships with these children who may have been impacted by adversity. She is an active volunteer and chapter coordinator for The Mended Hearts IncⓇ., nationalorganization supporting other heart patients and their families and recently chartered a group for young adults through the Young Mended Hearts® program. Prior to joining Asteroid Health, where she will be a Group Facilitator, Jennifer started her own private practice that offered individual, family, and sibling outpatient mental health therapy. Jennifer’s therapeutic approach was a blend of strength-based, solution-focused, and cognitive-behavioral; but the most important element was the therapeutic relationship and providing a space that was safe, loving, joyful, and empowering. Outside of work, Jennifer is a dance performer with a local adult dance company, enjoys watching all kinds of movies, watercolor painting, or just snuggling on the couch with hertwo cats (Sonny and Mo) and a cup of coffee.
